JaSam Edit#2 - Jason & Sam -

Sam catches Diego trying to break into Sonny's apartment and pulls a gun on him. Jason comes off the elevator with Brook Lynn. Once inside Jason's penthouse Jason demands to know why they are there. Diego tells Jason that he thinks Sonny killed his father and that his sister doesn't want him to stay in Port Charles because Sonny is a threat. Jason sighs and tells them that this needs to stop and dials a number which results in Courtney showing up at the penthouse. Jason takes the kids down to Courtney's car. As Sam is putting away the gun, Courtney comments that Sam has a lot more in common with Jason than she did. Sam, thinking Courtney is talking about losing the baby, says that the experience has brought them closer together. Courtney tells Sam the reasons why she left Jason, at first she tried to ignore his work, but in the end she couldn't deal with the violence and makes a comment that it seems like it's no big deal to Sam just as Jason walks in. Sam tells Jason she needs to go make dinner and he acts shocked. When asked if he has a problem with that... he says no and shows Courtney out. Jason is worried when he hears dishes crashing to the floor and Sam yelling out 'No' from the kitchen. He is about to go check on her when she comes out soaking wet. Jason asks what happened with a smirk and Sam tells him she put the bread under the broiler and it caught fire. She sprayed the "thingy" (fire extinguisher) and the dinner is ruined. Jason says it's not too late to order something amd Sam tells him there is no time. She is trying to take off her sweater and Jason helps when it gets stuck. Jason brushes the hair out of Sam's face and they move together and kiss. Sam makes the comment that she's not drunk and Jason says no. Sam was referring to the last time they kissed. When Sam starts talking about ehr feelings about him, Jason pulls away saying they can't be together. Sam asks why and Jason explains that sooner or later, his work will affect their relationship. Sam tells Jason that she knows what he does for work and that it doesn't bother her. Jason mentions that maybe she swhould move out because getting close and then pulling away is not good for either of them. Sam gets hurt and tells Jason that she will pack her bags and go. Sam is waiting for the elevator and Jason comes out to stop her. Sam asks if he decided they can be together and he says no, but he would like her to stay. Sam tells him that unless she is staying to be together, there is really no point in it. Jason asks where she will go and she says Kelly's. Sam checks into a room above Kelly's and gets dressed up and goes to Jake's. Coleman notices Sam eyeing the pool tale and offers her a game, to which if he wins, he gets a dance. Carly and Steven are also at Jake's and Carly warns Sam that although she does not want to be her friend, hanging out with Coleman is not a good idea. Sam tells Carly she got what she wanted... she has moved out of Jason's apartment and out of his life. Sam tells her that her life is none of her business anymore. Carly goes back to her date with Steven. Coleman wins the game and Sam makes a comment that he's lucky he lost. Coleman says he doesn't care as long as they can "make it". Sam looks disgusted as they start to dance and Jason walks in. As Coleman's hands start to roam down Sam's body, Jason pulls him off and holds him down on the bar. Sam tells Jason to let Coleman go. "You're real cute, Sam....but not worth getting killed over," Coleman tells Sam as he keep a dead stare on Jason and then walks away. Sam asks Jason what more does he want, he wanted her out of his life and now she is. Jason tries to stop Sam from pouring another shot and Sam jerks away. Jason tells her that this is not the way to honor her daughter's life and hopes she will make the right decision and leaves. Sam takes a walk through the parks and finds Jason on the bridge. She asks him how he knew she would take a detour on the way home and go to the bridge and Jason answers he didn't. He asks her if she realized what she was doing was not the answer and she agrees. Jason tells her he sometimes goes there to think. Jason offers to walk Sam home, but Sam tells him she will be okay. Sam goes to the courthouse and sees Sonny and Jason. After a brief conversation with Sonny, Sam and Jason are left alone. Jason asks how she is and she says good and that she wanted to be there for Sonny and they enter the courtroom. After Sonny and Alexis get joint custody everyone leaves the courtroom but Sam stays. Carly returns for something she left behind and approaches Sam and asks if Jason found her the other night. Sam says that he did but what's it to her. Carly tells Sam that she doesn't want to be her friend but Jason has always put her (Carly) happiness before his own and she is just trying to repay the favor. Sam comes down from her room and joins Liz at the counter. Liz is surprised to learn that Sam is no longer at Jason's. Sam explains that they were just roommates and living together for the baby. Liz takes a deep breath and says she's just going to say it. "If you walk away from Jason, you're going to regret it. He's a pretty amazing person." Sam asks Liz if she's still caught up on Jason and Liz says that she cares about Jason, that's all. Liz says that she saw how much Jason cares for her because she watched him as he sat by her side after losing the baby. Liz advises Sam that if Jason has feelings for her, he's going to protect her by hiding them and tells her she needs to be the one who tells him how she feels. Sam is hurrying out into the storm to tell Jason her feelings and passes Jax. Jax warns her the high heels are not a good idea in the snow but Sam heads out anyway and ends up twisting her ankle. Jax carries Sam back into Kelly's and gets her something warm to drink. They have a brief conversation about their feelings for Jason and Courtney. Jax asks Sam if she really believes Jason can have feelings for her and Sam says she knows he does. Max comes in and says Sonny wants some cookies for the kids. Sam asks if Jason is over at Sonny's as well and Max tells her that Jason went over to Courtney's. Sam asks Jax if he knows what Jason would be doing over at Courtney's and Jax comments that there has to be a good reason, nothing to worry about but they both looked worried. Alcazar brings in a girl who is about to give birth and Sam looks bothered. Alcazar asks for help and after hesitatiing a bit, Sam helps him prop the young girl up and tells her that she needs to breathe. The girl says her name is Bridget and asks Sam how coem she knows so much about giving birth. Sam looks at Jax as she tells her she had a baby not too long ago. Bridget asks where the baby is and Sam tells her she is fine. Bridget delivers a baby girl and Sam gets up and steps outside. Jax brings her out his coat and comforts her. Bridget doesn't want to hold or see the baby. Alcazar tells Jax he is worried that Bridget shows no interest in the baby. Jax says he might know someone who does and Alcazar takes the baby over to Sam. Sam doesn't want to hold the baby at first but Jax tells her she is lonely. Sam looks happy as se holds the baby and a tear falls. Sam tried to get Bridget to hold her baby. After the storm, Jason and Courtney come into Kelly's and tell Mike and Sam they are headed to Kristina's Christening but that because of the storm, Courtney was unable to get Kristina a dress. Sam tells her she might be able to help and goes upstairs and returns with a dress she had bought for her baby. Sam says she was uncertain of sizes and it might be a little long and Mike suggests that Courtney has always been good at that sort of thing. Jason sees Sam admiring the dress and asks if she's sure he wants to give the dress to Kristina and Sam says yes. Mike tells Sam that was a good thing she did and asks her to go to the Christening with him. ( I did not include Kristina's Christening in this edit but if you would like it, I can edit it in) Jason sees Liz headed into Kelly's and helps her with the stroller. Liz tells him this is perfect timing because she has wanted him to meet Cameron. Sam comes down the stairs and watches as Jason holds the baby. Jason asks Liz how her Christmas was and Sam sneaks back upstairs before being seen. Liz tells him it was great experiencing Christmas with a baby and apologizes. Jason tells her it's okay and there is no need to aopolgize. Liz tells him she saw how much he cares for Sam when she saw his heart break over the baby. Jason says it's a lot more complicated than that. Liz tells Jason not to assume he knows how Sam feels, to ask her. Sam comes back down for another cup of coffee. Jason approches her and asks how her Christmas was. She tells him quite, that she spent most of the night on the phone with Danny and asks how his was. He tells her he spent it with Carly,Sonny and the kids. Jason asks Sam if she wants to come ver for dinner. Sam looks shocked and asks at his place and he says that he has to work but was talking about later. Sam doesn't hesitate to say yes. Jason is setting up the dining room table for a romantic mood. He puts wine glasses by the plates, candles and adds a flower center piece. Sam is headed out to Jason when Bridget stops her and asks her for a favor. Jason lights the candles on the table just as Sam knocks on the door. When he opens the door, he is shocked to see a baby in her arms. Sam asks if they can come in and Jason let's them then asks who's baby that is. "Ours" Sam tells him and Jason looks puzzled. Sam tells Jason about the blizzard and Alcazar bringing Bridget into Kelly's after she had already gone into labor. Sam tells Jason she was actually the first woman to hold the baby and Jason asks how that felt. Sam told him weird at first. Sam goes on to tell Jason that Bridget asked her to take care of her baby. Jason says that it's not that simple... someone can't just give her a baby. Sam says that they will talk about that later but she needs him to go to the store and get some baby things and Jason leaves. Jason returns with formula, dipaers and baby wipes. Sam asks Jason if he will show her how to mix the formula up. Jason offers to make it up for her and Sam says that she has to learn sooner or later. Jason says that he knows she wants this to be permanent but there is still a lot that they have to discuss. Sam asks if they can wait on that conversation until they feed the baby and give her a bath. Jason says they are going to do it the other way around, bathe her then she will eb relaxed and then they will feed her. Sam asks should she run a tub and Jason says they are going to use the sink because it's smaller. Sam heads upstairs and stops to tell Jason she has been waiting a long time to see him with a baby in his arms and that it is more beautiful than she imagined. After the baby is sleeping Jason invites Sam to sit at the table. When he starts talking Sam interupts him and asks if she can go first. Jason says sure and when she starts apologizing about rushing in on him with the baby, Jason stops her and asks her if she notices what is on the table. When Sam says candles and wine, Jaosn asks if that is what he would normally being doing on a night he should be working and Sam says no. Jason tells Sam that he asked her there to ask her to move back in and that he missed her. Sam tells him that moving back in is a big step and she needs time to think about it. As Jason is saying he understands, Sam says yes. Jason looks happy and surprised as she explains that she was headed to tell him the same thing before Bridget stopped her. Sam says she knows that things with the baby aren't certain and Bridget could take her baby back at any time, and wonders if it is too much for Jason. Jason says he wants her there whethor she has a baby or not. Jason tells her they have a lot to straighten out and first thing is to find Bridget and make sure she really wants to allow Sam to adopt her. Sam agrees. The next day Courtney shows up and Sam asks is she is there for the baby and Courtney says yes, that Jason called her. When Jason walks into the room Sam asks Jason why he called Courtney and he explains that she has her foundation that is able to help them adopt the baby. Courtney explains that Bridget has some paperwork to fill out and that they need to go see her to get things rolling. Sam, Jason and Courtney meet with Bridget at Kelly's. Bridget is a little upset that they brought the baby. Courtney explains to Bridget that she will have some papers to fill out and that she has up to a year to change her mind. Bridget says that she won't. When Sam says that they should get the baby home, Bridget asks if she can say goodbye to her baby. Bridget tells the baby that Sam has another baby so she will have a big sister. Sam tells Bridget that her baby died shrtly after birth. Bridget is upset that Sam had lied to her and Sam explains that she didn't want to scare her while she was in labor. Sam also explains that she had been living above Kelly's but is moving back in with Jason and that Jason knows how to take care of a baby and is real good with kids. Bridget gives the baby back to Sam and looks sad as she watches Jason and Sam leave. Courtney asks if Bridget is sure she wants to do this and she says that she is, that it's for the best. Back at the penthouse Sam starts going on to the baby that she needs to give her a name as Jason is trying to interupt her. Jason says that he knows that she wants this to be permanent but there is a good possibility that it won't. Sam says she understands that Bridget could take her baby back but the baby needs her now. Jason still looks concerned as Sam talks about just making everyday count. That the baby needs someone to love her now. Jason explains to Sam how he took care of Michael because when he was a baby and it was all great but when he lost him it hurt. Jason goes to the store to get more baby things and when he returns Sam asks him if he thinks they are doing the right thing. She knows everything happened so fast at that when she watches him the baby, as great as he is, he looks as though he's being careful. Sam asks him if he is okay with this, and as Jason is trying to find the words he wants to say, the baby cries and Sam disappears upstairs. When she comes back down, Sam is surprised Jason is still there. Jason tells her he lives there. Sam says that she's sorry and Jason asks for what. Sam says she knows that he hates talking about his feelings and that she didn't want to push him on it. Jason tells her he is happy she is there and that getting Bridget's baby just feels like the magical solution for everything and that makes it really hard to trust it. Jason tells her it's hard for him to iagine things in the future but when her baby died, he realized that he had pictured her whole first year. Jason comes home from work and Sam has the apartment decorated for New Year's. Jason asked where she got all that stuff and she tells him she was in such a good mood that she went on a shopping spree because they need to celebrate. Then she brings up the Masquerade Gala and Jason says no that he doesn't wear costumes. Sam has a old sequenced hat that she wants Jason to try on but he says no. Sam hands the hat to Jason anyway who ends up putting it on her head and says he knew it would look better on her. At the stroke of Midnight a music montage shows Courtney and Jax, Dillon and Georgie, Lois and Lorenzo kissing for the celebration. Sonny and Carly get close to kissing and Sam throws confetti and blows a horn as Jason laughs. Sam sits next to him on the sofa and they kiss.

Jason kicks Alexis out of the room and explains to Sam that Sonny made the decision while she was unconscious and Sonny comes to see Sam. Sam accuses Sonny that he used her and the baby to get the daughter he wanted. Sonny tells Sam he is grieving for the baby too but Sam doesn't listen. Sonny leaves and Jason returns to Sam's side but she pushes him away telling him as soon as she is healthy she will move out of his place and be out of his life forever. Jason takes Sam to see Kristina, who objects as they approach Kristina's room. Jason tells her that for the small time that the baby was alive, she has done something good and something that will be remembered forever. Sam smiles as she looks in on Krisitina. Jason checks on Sam, dressed in a suit for the baby's memorial. Sam asks where her clothes are for the memorial and Jason tells her Dr.Meadows doesn't think she is well enough to go. Sam tells Jason she needs to go. Jason has Emily bring Sam some things for the memorial and asks Emily to help her get ready. Sam tells Emily she is okay and can get ready by herself. Sam is having trouble putting on a string of pearls as Jason walks in and he tenderly helps her. Sam asks if she looks okay. Because this will be the only event she will go to for her daughter. No birthdays, no graduations, and with tears she says...no weddings. Jason and Sam go to the church. During the memorial Alexis and Ric show up and set towards the back. Everyone turns to look at them and Sam shoots Alexis a dirty look and Alexis gets up and walks out. Once the baby is bathed, fed and asleep Jason and Sam resume their conversation of adopting the baby. Sam asks if her bringing the baby is too much for Jason but he diverts her by taking her to the table he set up and sitting across the table from her. Jason says that there is something he needs to talk to her about but Sam asks if she can go first. "Yea. Sure," he tells her and she says that she had no right to barge in there and ask him to help her take care of Bridget's baby just because he was going to help her raise hers. (Jason is trying to interupt her) Sam is going on about how she doesn't even live there anymore but Jason stops her. " Do you see what's on this table," he asks here and Sam looks and says wine and candles. Jason asks if that is something he would normally be doing on a day he should be working and Sam says no. Jason says he invited her over to ask her to move back in. Jason goes on to explain that he misses her, her voice, her stuff laying around, the way she knows what he's thinking without him having to say a word. Sam says she will need to think about it because it's a big step and as Jason is talking she blurts out yes. Sam tells Jason that she misses him too and wants to live with him. Jason and Sam cuddle on the sofa and Sam says that she will have to re-do the nursery now that the baby is there. Jason tells her whatever she wants but Sam says that she wants him to want it too. They start talking about all the legalities of the adoption and Sam says all she wants to do is start on the nursery in the morning but Jason says first thing in the morning they are going to get the proper steps going to start the adoption. Sam is trying to feed the baby when there is a knock on the door. Courtney enters and says that Jason called her and Sam asks if she is there about the baby. Courtney says that she got Bridget into a shelter until they can find a home for her and says that they need to meet with her to make sure she really wants Sam to adopt the baby. Courtney, Jason Sam and the baby go to Kelly's to meet Bridget and she seems surprised that they brought the baby. Bridget asks how she's doing and Sam says good. Courtney asks about the shelter and promises to get Bridget into a better place as soon as she can. Bridget says that she knows she can't be a good mother because she can't take care of herself let alone a baby and that while she was pregnant she only went to a doctor once and ate poorly. Sam tells Bridget they will give the baby a good home and Bridget asks if she can hold her. Sam is reluctant to hand the baby to her but does. Bridget is telling the baby that she has a big sister at home and Sam confesses that she didn't tell her that her baby died during childbirth. Bridget is upset that Sam lied and Sam explains that she didn't want to scare her while she was in labor. Sam also explains that she and Jason aren't married and that when Bridget brought the baby to her she was staying in a room upstairs but has sinced move back into Jason's. Jason says that they should go and Bridget hands the baby back to Sam and tells her to have birthday's for her. and tell her she's pretty and that if she doesn't understand things in school help her with them and Sam says they will give her a wonderful home. Bridget watches as Sam and Jason leave with the baby and Courtney asks if she's okay, to which Bridget says she's fine. Jason and Sam return home and Sam is talking to the baby about giving her a name and Jason tries to stop her. Jason says that he loves seeing her happy but asks if she understnads that she can lose this baby too. Jason says that Bridget still has up to a year to change her mind and Sam says that won't happen because Bridget can't even take care of herself. Sam says that she understands if Jason doesn't want to do this and Jason says that's not it. Sam says that she knows that they might only have the baby for a year, but they need to make every minute count, that the baby needs someone to love her now. Jason explains that Michael needed someone to love him too, and that when he had to give him up and then Jason pauses and says that he just doesn't want Sam to have to go through that. he wants her to realize the possibility that she will have to give the baby up. Sam says that he should know her by now, she always expects the worse to happen. Jason watches from the stairs as Sam talks to the baby and looks worried for her. Jason comes back from the store and calls out to Sam who comes downstairs half way. Jason asks what she is doing and Sam says that she wants to be able to hear the baby and Jason says that she will. Sam goes to see what he bought and laughs when he pulls a rubber duck out of the bag and tells Jason he's funny. Jason tells Sam she looks happy and she says that she is. She says that it's a good day and she doesn't remember having a good day for awhile. Sam asks Jason if they are doing the right thing. that one minute she is trying to adjust to living above Kelly's and the next minute she's moving back in and they have a baby together. Jason says that that's what he thought she wanted. Sam says it is but it just seems like the magical solution to everything but she wants Jason to want it too. Jason says that he was already planning on asking her to move back in and Sam says that that was her, not her with a baby. Sam says that she could guess that Jason is feeling pretty claustrophobic and Jason says that is another he missed, Sam trying to guess how he feels and Sam says that this is a little too important to guess and asks him again if he wants it as much as she does. Jason is about to answer but the baby cries and Sam runs up to get her upset that Jason didn't answer right away. Jason shows Sam how to feed the baby after she has some trouble and Sam takes her back up to bed. When she comes downstairs Jason is sitting in the chair and Sam comments that he still there as a question. Jason says he lives there and Sam says she meant that she thought he would run out with a good excuse after their discussion and sits in front of him on the coffee table. Sam apologzes for pushing Jason because she knows he doesn't like to talk about his feelings. Jason says she shouldn't be sorry because she has a right to know. He says it's just like she said, it seems like the magical solution to everything and that makes it really hard for him to trust it. He tells her that it's hard for him to imagine things that haven't happened yet. But when she lost her baby, he realized he had imagined her whole first year. Her feedings, reading to her, first steps and that he didn't realize how much he counted on it to happen until it was gone. Jason tells Sam that he is glad that she and the baby are there and that whatever happens, they will go through it together.

New Year's Eve--- Jason comes home and looks around the penthouse. sam has decorated it for the New Year celebration and Sam comes out and says it's good he's home. Jason asks where she got all that stuff and she says she went on a shopping spree for them to celebrate New Year's together unless he thinks they should get costumes and go to Jax's Masquerade Ball. Jason says no because he doesn't go to costume parties. Sam says that he never knows, he might have fun and he won't know unless he tries. Jason laughs and says he will never know then. Since they aren't going out, Sam tries to get Jason to wear the gold hat but he puts it on her and says he knew it would look better on her anyway. A musical montage shows all the guests at the masquerade ball kissing at the stroke of midnight, Carly and Sonny close to kissing, and Sam celebrating by throwing glitter in the air and blowing a paper horn as Jason smiles and pulls her into a kiss. Jason and Sam are interupted by the telephone ringing and Jason gets up to answer it. It's Bridget on the other and she tells Jason she needs bailed out of jail and tells him to do it for her baby. Jason tells Sam there is something he has got to go do and Sam says okay. Jason arrives at the police station and asks Mac what happened with Bridget. Mac explains that Bridget got into a fight with one of the bouncers at a club she tried to get into and she's three sheets to the wind. Jason says he wants to bail her out just as Courtney arrives and asks what he's doing there. Jason tells Courtney Bridget called him and Courtney asks if Bridget told him to do it for the baby. Jason asks how Courtney knew and Courtney says it wasn't that hard to figure it out. Courtney says that she doesn't like the idea of Bridget calling Jason for help and comments that Bridget is unpredictable because she is a teenager out of control. Jason says that he agrees and is worried for Sam. Jason and Sam are talking about Courtney calls Jason and tells him that she managed to get Bridget into a special school and Jason thanks her. When Sam asks what that was about, Jason admits that Sam that he has something to tell her. Jason tells Sam that it was Bridget calling the night before and that she had been arrested for assault and being drunk. Sam says that maybe it is for the best because now Bridget will get the help she needs and have a chance at a better life. Jason tries to explain to Sam that there is a good chance that Bridget will want her baby back. Jason and Sam are getting the baby ready for her first doctor visit. Sam is telling the baby not to be nervous and Jason asks if she's talking about the baby or her. " A little of both, I guess," Sam tells him. Sam says that they have been going all calling the baby her and she and she thinks it's time they gave the baby a name. Jason says not yet as his face shows concern. Jason tells Sam of how Michael was a year old before they named him and that there is no rush in naming the baby. Sam says that they need to figure out something for the doctor's office and the birth certificate. Jaosn tells Sam that the doctor will be fine with "Baby McCall". "Or Morgan," Sam asks and Jason says whatever she wants. Sam says that she want him to want it to and it seems as though he is unsure of wanting to keep the baby. Sam says that she doesn't want to push him and having the baby have his last name might be pushing too much too fast. Jason tells Sam that he lost Michael when he was about a year old. That no one had warned how much he was going to love that little boy because they couldn't. They had to live through it first. And then all of the sudden Michael wasn't his anymore, and Jason doesn't want to see Sam go through that pain. Sam tells Jason not to worry because he knows her, she always expects the worst. At the hospital Jason and Sam introduce the baby to her doctor and the doctor makes an observation that they haven't named her yet. Sam is struggling for a reply and Jason asks what about Hope. Sam and Jason are get ready to take Hope home and Courtney steps off the elevator and sees them. Jason asks Sam if Hope is a good name and she says yes. Jason comes downstairs with Hope and puts her in the bassinet. Sam is going through some books and Jason asks what they are. Sam tells him they are travel magazines to read to Hope and Jason says he can't. Sam gets frustrated with Jason and says that she doesn't understand. He was more than willing to read travel books to her baby. Jason tries to say that they should just be cautious and not get Hope into a routine until after Bridget's year to take her back is up. Sam asks if they are supposed to just deprive Hope of love and a good home for the first year of her life just as Carly walks in. Carly apologizes and say that it is an old habit to just walk in, and that it needs to change. Carly walks over to the bassinet and coos over Hope. Carly asks Sam if she can pick her up and Carly asks the baby is she knows how lucky she is. Sam offers to take the baby upstairs so Carly and Jason can talk. Jason asks Carly what's wrong and Carly says that it may come to a surprise to him but she doesn't alway go to him when she has a problem. Jason asks since when. Carly comments on the tension in the room when she walks in and Jaosn says that he's worried that Sam has already gotten too attatched to the baby. Carly says she should be. That's what mothers do for their children whether they are their own or not. Carly says that she's not so sure that Sam is the one with the problem, but that it's Jason. Carly says that so what if Bridget has up to a year to take Hope back and asks does he really want to waste a whole year distancing himself from loving her. Carly says that she knows Jason has had a lot of loss lately, with first Courtney's baby and now Sam's. But Hope is there now, and needs someone to love her now. Carly tells Jason to think about what she has said and leaves. When Sam comes back downstairs Jason is reading to Hope Sam smiles on as she watches Jason bond with the baby. Jaosn comes down from putting Hope down and Sam gets Jaosn to dance with her much to his protest. Jason picks Sam up to carry her upstairs but Sam flinches from pain.Jason says that Sam is not ready to make love and Sam says she is. Jason says he wants to be with her, but when the time is right and when it will not hurt her. Courtney goes over to Jason's and warns Jason that Bridget has ran away from the special school she was placed in. Jason asks Courtney what she wants him to do if she shows up there and Courtney says to distract her until she can arrive. Jason gets a call to go to Sonny's new house and says that he'll be back later. Sam hears a knock on the door and opens it to find Bridget there. Bridget says that she is there for her baby and Sam asks what she means. Bridget says that she's not there to take her back or anything, she just wants to see her and asks if she can hold her. Bridget tells Sam that it is a nice place that she'll be raising Hope in just as Jason arrives. Jason asks Bridget how she is doing and tells her that Courtney is worried about her. Bridget gets upset when she thinks Jason has called the cops and is about to leave but Courtney is at the door when she opens it. Courtney asks if Bridget is okay and why did she not like the home she was in. Brdget says the lady tried to tell her what to do. Courtney says that she has figured out a place for Bridget to stay, with her. Bridget asks if Courtney is serious and Courtney says that first there are some rules, such as respect her, follow Courtney's rules, etc. . Courtney and Bridget leave and Sam says that she can't believe that Courtney is going to let Bridget live with her. Jason says that maybe she is just trying to help but Sam doesn't agree. Sam says that she thinks Courtney still loves Jason and doesn't want him to be happy with her. Sam says that she has to admit, she's jealous of Courtney. She's successful, smart, and beautiful. Jason asks if Sam doesn't think she's beautiful, because he does. Jason tells Sam how good she has been to him and how glad he is that she's there. Sam tell's Jason that he needs to stop because he is scaring her. Jason asks how he is scaring her and Sam tells him by giving her everything she has wanted. Sam said one thing she has realized is that when you get everything you want you stannd to lose everything and that scares her. Jason says that he's not being fair to Sam because he's asking her to live this certain life and most people can't handle that. Sam tells Jason that he isn't being unfair, he can't be unfair, because it's not in him. Jason says that he can't promise what's going to happen in the future, or what will happen with Hope, but he will do his best effort to make Sam happy. Sam and Jason kiss and Jason picks her up and carries her up to his bedroom where they make love. After they make love and Jason is getting dressed Sam brings Hope in and asks if he wants some company and he says sure. They all get in bed together for the night. Jaason tells Sam good morning and Sam says that it is better than good, she thinks it's the best day of her life. Sam asks Jason if it bothered him that Hope was in bed with them last night and Jason says no. Sam says good because she has read the family bed is a tradition in some cultures. Jason jokes and asks Sam if she wants Hope in bed with them every night and Sam says no, but that it felt good, it felt like they were a family last night. Sam asks Jason if he has to work today and Jason says they are some thing he should do, why. Sam says that she's going to take Hope shopping and wants him to come. Jason drops Sam and Hope off at Kelly's and Sam asks again if he can join them but he says he can't. Courtney watches a close moment between Jason and Sam, as they kiss goodbye and Sam goes into Kelly's. Courtney tells Sam that she wanted her to know she has soem papers for her and Jason to sign but that it's not a rush. Sam says that she wants to sign the papers as soon as possible and Courtney asks if Jason will be home later so she can drop them off.Sam tells her she can leave them with the doorman and avoid the trip up. Courtney says that Sam looks happy and she says she is. That she hadn't realized how happy Hope was going to make her, that one minute she was mourning her baby and not knowing how to go on with her life and now she has turned a corner. Sam says that Courtney must know what that feels like because after the fire she inherited all that money and has been doing such great things with it. Courtney says yes and leaves. Jason catches Courtney trying to slip the adoption papers under his door and invites her in. Courtney tells him the papers are pretty simple except for one area, domestic relationship. Jason asks if it will matter if Jason and Sam are married or not and Courtney says that the court will want them to claim their relationship in some legal way. Jason says if need be he and Sam can get married. Couirtney says that is a risky step to take just to adopt a baby. jason says it's not because he and Sam are together now. Courtney looks shocked and hurt and Jason asks if she is okay. Courtney says it just hurts even though she knows it shouldn't. Jason tells her how he had given up on love after Courtney left and had no desire to fall in love again but Sam changed that. Courtney says she is happy for Jason and walks out. Sam comes home and sees Jaosn looking over the papers and asks if those are the adoption papers. Jason talks about his and Courtney's chat and Sam says that she's glad Coutrney knows they are together. Sam comes out of the kitchen screaming for Jason's help. Jason runs down and tries not to laugh at Sam's burning chicken. Sam throws it on the floor and Jason asks why she tried to make dinner and Sam says he needed a home cooked meal because he has poor eating habits. Jason and Sam order chinese and Sam says that she just wants a way to pay Jason back for being so good to her. Sam says that she could do some salvish work for him, or break into a safe and Jason tells Sam that can never happen. Sam tells him she was just joking. Jason says good because he knows of a way she can repay him. Jason tells Sam how he never expected to fall in love again until Sam came along. That when she was gone, he had missed her alot. He had realized that he looked forward to seeing her again. Jason asks Sam to marry him. Sam gets emotional as she tells Jason that she never knew what falling in love was like until she met Jason, and that she had missed Jason too. Sam excepts Jason's proposal and Jason jokes that he didn't buy an engagement ring for her and Sam says that he will just have to take her shopping. There is a knock on the door and Courtney's voice comes from the other side saying it's important. Jason lets her in and Courtney tells Jason and Sam that Bridget has changed her mind about the adoption and wants Hope back. Jason asks why Bridget changed her mind and Courtney says that she thinks Bridget really believes she can take care of the baby. After Courtney leaves Sam tells Jason they can't let Hope go back with Bridget. She will grow up alone and not being able to count on the one parent she has. Jason calls Jordan and goes to meet her at Metro Court. Sam says that she knows why this may be happening and maybe there is something she can do to stop it. Sam goes to Courtney's and accuses Courtney of convincing Bridget to take the baby back so she can get back wqith Jason. Sam tells Courtney she needs to let go of Jason. Courtney tells Sam that Jason is only with her because he feels sorry for her and when he makes a commitment to someone, he sticks with it. Sam says that is not true because Jason asked her to marry him. Courtney says that Sam is using the baby to keep Jason and that Jason is suffering because of it. Sam says that Jason is definitly not suffering and Courtney asks so she's using sex now as a ploy to keep him. Courtney accuses Sam of using the guilt of losing the baby to keep Jason with her and Jason walks in and tells Courtney that's enough. Jason tells Sam they are leaving and Courtney tries to apologize but Jason won't hear it. Back at the penthouse Sam tries to explain that she had gone over to Courtney's trying to get her to let go of him but it turned into an argument and for that she's sorry. Jason says it doesn't matter, she can't just go off on Courtney anymore because they need her help in order to keep Hope. Jason explains to Sam his conversation with Jordan and says that the most they can do is file for protective custody. BUT... if Courtney can get Bridget to proceed with the adoption it will be a lot less hassle. Jordan shows up and tells them they have a court date and to bring the baby and all her things. If the judge's decision is against them, they will have to surrender the baby immediatly. Sam, Jason, Courtney, and Bridget all gather in the judges. Sam is first on the hot seat and explains how she helped Bridget give birth and then Bridget came to her and asked her to take her baby. Bridget is asked to take the seat and verifies Sam's story but explains she didn't know what she was doing and asks if she can have her baby back now, The judge says she hasn't made her decision yet. The judge says she needs a break to think and asks Courtney to stay to talk to the judge next. Courtney tells the judge that Sam and Jason's would be much better parents than Bridget could be. The judge asks if Courtney thought the child would be safe to which Courtney says no. Courtney breaks the news to Jason that she had to tell the truth and Jason goes home. Back at the penthouse Bridget's grandmother arrives and introduces herself to Sam. Sam says not to be rude but what is she doing there and the woman explains that social services has contacted her and told her about Bridget and Hope. Bridget's grandmother makes a plea that she would like to take care of her great-grandchild. Jason walks in and wonders who she is. After the woman leaves Sam demands Jason to bribe the judge or whoever else he has to to get custody of Hope. Jason says that he won't because who are they to say Hope's family doesn't deserve her and a chance to be in her life. Sam finds it ironic that Jason will bribe, kill, threaten people everyday for work, but won't do it for love. Jason says that he can only see one eay that all this could work. Jason asks Courtney, Bridget and to the penthouse and explains how they judge might decide to put Hope in foster care unless they all go into the court united. Sam asks what he means and Jason explains that they all need to decide the best option for the baby, which in the long run, turns out to be Hope and her greatgrandmother. Sam is forced to give the baby to Bridget and and lashes out at Jason after they leave. Sam tells Jason she will never forgive him for betraying her and tries to push him away by telling him he was just the person to pay the bills. She never loved him, never trusted him, and that he is a hypecrit. Jason is deeply affected by Sam's words and is about to cry as Sam walks out. Jordan shows up and Jason answers the door thinking it is Sam. Jordan tells Jason that the court has given Bridget's grandmother custody and Jason says it's already done and tells her that Bridget and cam and got the baby earlier because he had a feeling that is the way the judge would decide. Sam verbally attacks Courtney saying that she did a great job. Her hands are clean but she is the one who got the baby taken from Jason and herself. Courtney tries to object but Sam tells her she has left Jason and now Courtney can go back to him like she has always wanted. Jason goes to Sam's room and knocks on her door but she doesn't answer. Jason tells her through the door that he knows she's hurt right now and she doesn't want to talk to him, but he'll wait for her to call and walks away. Sam gets a mysterious call and tells the person on the other end she still wants to move forward with her plan. Mike helps Sam out with her bag just as Jason arrives at Kelly's Jason asks her where she is going and she says Miami. Jason asks what's in Miami and Sam tells him sunshine, ocean... nothing that will remind her of there. jason tries to get out another one of his warning and apologies but Sam walks away. Jason calls Sam and tells her Danny's school is trying to get a hold of her so Danny can go on a field trip. Sam says she call the school and Jason asks if she has landed in Miami yet. Sam tells him she is dinging on the terrace but really is still in Port Charles waiting for someone in an alley. Sam tells him that being by the ocean has changed her perpesctive on things and says that maybe they can talk when she gets back and Jason says he's like that. Sam tells him her waitress is coming and hangs up, but it is a mysterious woman who tells Sam "the risks" are much greater than she originally thought and that she'll need more money. $100,000. Sam tells the woman she have the money by the next day. Sam attempts to break into Sonny's new mansion but the alram sounds and Sam bolts from the scene. Someoen watching by hidden camera comments that Sam is going to take Kristina before "they" can. Jason walks in on Sam talking to the woman in the alley. Jason comments that he guesses she's not in Miami. Sam says that lied, because that's what she does, she lies. Sam tells him that she had to tell him she was leaving because he was everywhere she went and wouldn't leave her alone. Jason asks if she think he made them give up Hope to hurt her. Sam doesn't answer but it's obvious she knows the that he never meant for her to get hurt. Jason sees Carly outside Kelly and she comments that he doesn't look good and Jason says there is just a lot going on. "You don't get upset about work, Jas...did something happen with Sam," Carly asks and they go inside to continue their conversation. Jason tells Carly about seeing Sam and Carly asks sarcastically if maybe Sam is up to something. Carly says that she doesn't like Sam, "she's a manipulative little witch...even tried to steal her husband.." Jason defends Sam by saying that's not what happened. Carly says she's sorry for what Sam has lost, but Jason has lost too and he's not going around hurting her, lieing to his face. Carly asks doesn't he even want to know what Sam is up to. Jason sounds unpleased as he warns Carly not to try and figure this out (even though he knows she will get involved) Carly says that maybe Sam has a scam going, or maybe she meant for Jason to walk in on her. jason says that Sam doesn't need to scam him. " You're the one who comes up with crazy plans, you do crazy things to get what you want, and half the time you get it you don't want it anymore, that's not Sam," Jason tells her. Jason's beeper goes off and Jason sarcastically tells her he has to go to work. Sam watches for the guard to get distracted at Sonny's gate and makes it past him when he lights a cigarette. Sam breaks into Sonny's bedroom and sushes Kristina as she sits on the bed. Back in a room, Sam goes through a bag of money (that she must just have stole from Sonny's room) and calls someone and tells them she has just a few more arrangements to make and then she be ready to "pick her up". Carly arrives at Sonny's after learning that Kristina has been kidnapped. Carly asks where Jason is and Sonny says he went after a lead. Carly asks if he went after Sam. Carly tells Sonny about how Jason saw Sam in an alley and says she thinks Sam is up to something and could very well be the one who took Kristina. When Jason returns... telling Sonny about the lead, Sonny tells him to forget that for one minute and consider there is another person who knows how to crack a safe and has the means to take Kristina. Sonny asks Jason why he never told him Sam never left town. Jason says he saw no reason to. Sonny says that there is good Sam had good reason to take Kristina and that she had to have snapped from losing Hope. Jason defends Sam by telling Sonny Sam could have never have tapped the house and taken the steps that were taken in order to take Kristina. Sam calls Jason and tells him she is in trouble. Sam packs a suitcase with toys and clothes for a girl and takes the money to the mysterious woman. The woman says she is surprised Sam was able to get the money so fast and Sam says the person she got it from owed her and can afford it. A police siren goes off and Sam runs from the alley. Sam calls Jason at Sonny's and tells him she is in serious trouble. Jason sks her where she is and says he'll come get her. Sam says it's too late for that and hangs up the phone. jason tells Sonny and Alexis exactly what Sam said and Alexis says it sounds like a confession to her. Ric walks in on the conversation and everyone but Jason gangs up on Sam. Ric gets fed up and begins the call to the police with hesitation from Sonny. Jason asks Sonny since when do the police help. Jason runs out as Ric is talking to the police and Sonny says let him go. Steven is brought in to look for evidence in Sonny's room and finds a woman's show prints and then by the bed finds a strand of Sam's hair. Ric puts a rush on the DNA test and finds out that it is indeed Sam's hair. Jason finds Sam at the bus station and they are forcefully arrested. Ric questions Sam in the interigatin room and Sam denies being the one who took Kristina. Sonny breaks in and Ric allows him to have 5 minutes with Sonny. Sonny tells Sam that when he and Carly lost their first child, he blamed the Quatermaines and that's why he pushed so hard to adopt Michael. Something in him snapped. Sam tries to defend herself and Sonny gets upset. Alexis walks in and claims Sam didn't do it to hurt him, but to her her (Alexis). Alexis begs Sam to return Kristina and says she can make the whole thing disappear. Jason finds Royal and accuses him of helping kidnap Kristina at gunpoint. At first Royal claims he isn't working for anyone but then admits that he can tell Jaosn where Kristina is. Jason ends up shooting Royal and is arrested. Alexis tells Jason Sam wants to talk to him. Sam tells Jason how she stole the money for an illegal adoption. Jason says that Sonny would have just given the money to her. Sam says she knows but she didn't want them to know she bought a baby. Sam tells Jason she had hoped to go away, get the baby and return to continue their life they had planned together with Hope. But the woman took the money and vanished. Jason asks Sam if she has a number or address or was there someone that saw her with the woman. Sam ives Jason the woman's number and Jason goes off to investigate. jason returns and as he is headed back in to talk with Sam, Ric informs him that Royal had Sam's cell number punched into his phone when Jason shot him. Jason goes back into the room and wants to know why Sam lied to him. Sam swears, on the love they shared, that she did not take Kristina. Sam tells Jason to look at her and says there is love between them and she could never lie to him. Sam gets close to Jason but he pulls away and says that he has to be sure. Reese and Ric take Sam back to Sonny's and have her reinact the events of the night Kristina was taken. Sam makes a mistake that contradicts the statement she made at the police station and Ric demands to know where Kristina is. Jason walks up to Max's post and tells him something is going on down at the lake and to check it out. There is an explosion outside Sonny's living room and Sam is grabbed from the behind and taken from the room. Outside Jason lets her go and Sam is relieved that Jason believes her and tries to hug him but he says there is no time for that right now. They are about to get away but Sonny stops them and holds them at gunpoint. Sonny demands to know why Jason is defending the woman that took Kristina and Jason points out all the signs that someone, who really did take Kristina, is setting up Sam because they saw her on the survelliance cameras. Sonny holds reese back which allows Jason and Sam to escape. Jason and Sam safely make it to one of the safe-houses and Jason collapses on the bed. Sam tries to tend to his wound but warns him she is a terrible nurse and even more so hates the sight of blood. Sam asks why Jason helped her get away and makes the assumption he believes her. Jason says he loves her and always knew the truth. Sam says she loves Jason too and they share a kiss. Sam worries how long they can stay there before Sonny finds them and Jason says Sonny won't be coming after them. Jason passes out from blood loss and Sam leaves. At the hospital disguised as a doctor Sam approaches Monica and tells her Jason needs her help because he's been shot just as the police arrive asking if any gunshot victims have been treated. Sam takes Monica to Jason who has collapsed on the floor. Sam and Monica get Jason back to bed and Jason thanks Monica for helping him. Monica says she is his mother, of course she's going to help him. Monica stitches up Jason's wound and gives Sam instructions on how to make sure it doesn't get infected. Sam says she's glad Jason is out cold because he was in so much pain she thought he was going to cry. Sam says it's obvious that Monica loves Jason and Monica says she see that Sam does too. Sam says that she'd do anything for Jason and Monica tests her by asking turning herself in. Sam says if she knew Jason would be okay she'd turn herself in right then and Monica says maybe when Jason is stronger. Say realizes Monica was seeing how far she would go for Jason and Sam assures her she'll always take care of him. Monica leaves and Jason wakes up and he tells Sam that after he is better they will go look for Kristina's kidnapper together. Sam says that Jason needs to rest and Jason says Sam should too. Sam doesn't want to hurt Jason by being in bed with him and says that she'll sleep on the floor. Jason asks Sam to please lay with him. Jason has a nightmare and wakes up and tells Sam they need to go because Sonny and the police will be closing in on them. Jason is able to stand but starts to lose his balance so Sam helps him back to the bed. Monica shows up and checks Jason's fever and wound, and ends up telling him about AJ's death. Jason and Monica share a tender moment over the loss of AJ. Monica tells Jason the antibiotic isn't working and she'll have to get him something stronger. Jason asks Monica not to come back because it's too risky and Monica says she's already lost one son, she's not going to let him die too. Sam is about to turn herslef in when Sonny comes in and asks why they haven't left yet. Sonny tells Jason and Sam he knows she didn't take Kristina and that the real kidnappers set her up. Reese busts in the door and holds them all at gunpoint. Sonny asks what took her so long and makes the comment does she really think she could have followed him if he didn't want her to. Reese says she knows she could and tells Jason and Sam to put their hands up they are under arrest. Sam says Jason is still healing from the last time she shot him. Reese says if she feels he's trying to escape, she'll shoot again. Sonny manages to get Reese to let Jason and Sam go, and to begin looking at other suspects so Reese heads back to his house. One of Sonny posts alerts him that they police are quickly on their way up to the hide out. Sonny says he will get Jason to a doctor and Jason says they need to get to Royal's apartment before it's wiped clean. Jason and Sam break into Royal's and Sam helps Jason to the sofa. Jason tells Sam to look for clues but Sam is more concerned about Jason's health. Sam tells Jason he need that medicine and she is going back to the hospital to get it. Faith comes in while Sam is at the hospital and tells Jason that Karma is a bitch but Jason is unconscious. She holds the gun at his head as she tells him how because Sonny took everything from her, he is going to pay and she is going to start with him. Faith pulls the trigger but the gun is jammed and she hears the sirens coming towards Royal's. Faith grabs a pillow and is about to shoot Jason but changes her mind and narrowly slips out as Jason wakes up. Officer Murphy comes in and arrests Jason. jason notices a piece of paper on the floor and tries to hide it but Murphy grabs it up. Meanwhile at the hospital, Sam is able to find Monica and get the stronger antibiotics from her and sneaks out through a stairwell but Alexis stops her and demands to know where Kristina is. Sam tells Alexis she doesn't know and has to go because Jason is really sick. Alexis tries to run after Sam but misses a step and falls. Sam's instinct is to run off and leave Alexis but calls for help when she hears someone on the floor above. Brook Lynn comes down and is horrified to find Alexis passed out with Sam over her. Sam tells her she didn't do anything and says that she needs five minutes to get away. Brook Lynn gives Sam the window she needs to get back to Jason. Sam knocks out Murphy and uncuffs Jason from the wall. Jason tells Sam about the piece of paper in Murhpy's hand and reads the address. Sam and Jason hurry off to the new address in hopes to find Kristina but when they arrive the apartment is vacant and Kristina's "Angel Bear" is on the floor. Sam wants to call the police but Jason says no. As they are leaving Jaosn collapses again and Sam is forced to call 911. A nurse informs Steven that the gunshot victom from the ER is on his way up. When Steven spots Jason and Sam he tells the nurse they are fugitives and to call the police. Steven stops Sam from going into the room with Jason and Ric stops them from a scuffle and asks who brought them in.Sam says no one, Jason collapsed and she had to call the ambulance. Sam asks about Alexis and is trying to explain what happened but Ric tells her Alexis is okay and that she told him that Sam had nothing to do with her fall. Sam tells him that if Jason hadn't collapsed they'd be closing in on the kidnapper right now and gives him the paper with the address on it. Ric says he'll have someone check it out. Emily goes to Jaon's room top vent about AJ's death and asks him to support the family. After Emily leaves Jason asks Sam to help him do something for Emily. Jason and Sam attend AJ's memorial and both Emily and Monica are pleased. Back at the hsopital Monica and Alan approach jason and ask him to help them find AJ's killer. Jason asks if they have any suspects and Alan mentions Courtney and explains that Courtney and AJ's divorce was a fraud and taht when Courtney found out she flew down to the Bahamas and confronted AJ who refused to give her the divorce. Jason says he has a lot on his plate at the moment and that he is unable to help them because he is looking for Kristina. Alan gets upset and asks is all he cares about is Sonny. Alan says he just buried one of his sons, the other (meaning Jason) has been dead for years and walks out. Monica apologizes for Alan's behavior and leaves. Sam asks if Jason is worried about Courtney and Jason says she can take care of herself. Sam tries to explain how she thinks Jason is feeling knowing his marriage to Courtney was not legal. Sam tries to apologize for getting him shot and put in the hospital and Jason says they are even but Sam keeps going on. Jason tries to interupt her but Sam continues on into a snynopsis of the last couple of week's events including suspecting her of taking Kristina, then believeing in her and standing by her, risking his life to save her and to top it all off she stole A $100,000 from his best friend and he thinks they are even. Jason asks if he can just say something and says that she isn't going to like it but he's going to pay Sonny back and then she can just pay him back whenever. Jason says she saved his life. Sam remarks back that he got shot saving hers. Jason pulls Sam close to him and Sam tells him she loves him very much. Jason says then they are even and kisses her. Sam ands Jason are about to leave the hospital to go look for Faith when Ric shows up and asks if they are going somewhere. Ric informs them that the kidnapper is indeed a woman and they believe it is Faith. Ric tries to question Jason but Jason says he knows nothing about Faith. Ric says he may have a lead and tells them the 5 families are having a meeting and he can't get into that meeting, but Jason can. Jason says it is a trap and Ric defends himself by saying he would never put Kristina in danger like that. Jason asks where the meeting is being held and Ric tells him. Ric advises Jason to do whatever it takes to get Kristina back. Jason breaks into the warehouse the 5 families are meeting at and holds the men at gunpoint. One of the men says the the Corinthos Organization wasn't invited and Jason says he is looking for Faith and they might know where she is. The man says it's 5 to 1 and he guards outside. Sam walks in with her gun pulled as well and says not anymore. The man who has been speaking informs them that they have no idea where Faith is since she broke out of prison and they are still very angry about her ambush. Jason asks why they just didn't take Faith out and the man informs him she got involved with Sonny's lawyer and they don't want trouble from them. Jason asks if he's talking about Justus Ward and the man says yes. Jason and Sam approach Justus at the courthouse and ask him when was the last time he has heard from Faith. justus says he hasn't. Sam says that Faith trusted him and that if she was in trouble she might go somewhere safe that he has taken her before. Justus says he does know of one place. Jason and Sam break into the place where Faith planned the kidnapping. There are hundreds of pictures of Kristina and a computer. Sam is about to leave when Jason tells her not to move. There is a bomb that is rigged to explode when the door opens again. Sam asks why they are just standing there and Jason explains the way the bomb works and says he'll have to disarm it. Jason is about to clip a white wire and Sam stops him saying that is usually the trigger wire. Jason says no and says he's going to cut it. Sam says she loves him and he doesn't have to say it back and waits for him to cut the wire. Jason says he loves her too and clips the wire and the bomb stops counting. Jason and Sam go through all of the pictures and enlarge one to see Michael and Morgan. Jason calls Carly to warn her not to leave the boys alone but she says it's too late, they're gone. Jason goes to Carly's while Sam organizes the pictures in chronilogical order. Jason comes back and they find a picture that was mistakenly taken from a moving car and get a name. Julianne. Jason and Sam go to Sonny's and say the have a lead and tell Sonny about the name. It's a street name. Alexis asks where it is and Sam says no where in Port Charles. Carly asks what are they suppose to do, drive throught the country to every road named that. jason says that he has Stan looking into it further and will know something soon. Alexis says she is going to alert the police and Reese comes in and says it sounds like they've got something. Sonny tells Jason that so far keeping things from her has done nothing but hurt their chances and from now they are to fully cooperate wih Agent Marshall and the police. Stan shows up at Sonny's and tells Jason that the road is in Louisiana and Jason syays that they can't tell Sonny right now. jason and Sam go to Louisiana and go to a house that was said to have a blonde woman with a child staying there. Jason says Sam will do him more good if she waits outside form someone to run. Jason goes inside and Jason tells her he's looking for a blond. When the woman returns she brings three blondes withher and Jason assumes she thinks he is looking for a escort. Jason says he must have given her the wrong idea of what he was talking about but Sam comes out in a slutty outfit. Jason says on the other hand he has changed his mind and he'll take her...meaning Sam. The woman asks who she is and Sam says "Raven" from Texas and that she heard that the best woman are there and since she's the best woman in Houston she thought she work there as well. The woman says she doesn't know Jason and Sam are trying to pull but she has a custom around there and that is Cliedus gets first run at any news girls and calls him out. He is a unattractive farm boy and Jason tries to say he's in a hurry and maybe he should go first but the woman won't hear it. Jason takes Candy in the back and asks if there is a child staying there. Candy acts scared and says she doesn't want any trouble with the cops. Jason says he's not a cop and gives her some money and tells her to stay in her room. Jason pulls his gun and is about to rescue Sam when she comes out with the excuse she is getting a costume. Jason wants to know what that meant but Sam says they do not have any time, they need to look for Faith. jason and Sam wind up back at Candy's door and hear a baby crying. Jason kicks in the door and demands to know where the kid is. Candy reveals that is was her daughter crying and that she's staying there to make money and hide from her ex-boyfriend. Jason and Sam apologize and Jason flashes Faith's picture. Candy says she has seen Faith and may know where she's hiding. Jaosn and Sam go to Faith's hideout but everyone is already gone. Sam picks Morgan's bottle up and says the juice is still cold. They must have just missed them. Someone starts coming through the door and Jason and Sam stand to the side ready to attack. It's Candy and she says she just wanted to help find the kids. jason asks her if she has anymore information but she doesn't. Candy heads back to the bordello and as she walks to the porch she see Michael and a man walk away. Candy calls Jason and Sam back to the bodello and lets Bella explain that Michael had gone there and said he was kidnapped but then a man arrived and said he had ran away from home and had been doing it since his mother left. Jason and Sam go back to Faith's hideout and Jason says that he's worried about Michael. He says Michael is doing what he's been trained to do but Jason doesn't want Michael to act like him or Sonny right now. Sam encourages him that Michael can take care of himself by reminding Jason of how he had tried to bribe her out of town. Sonny and Reese show up and Michael calls Sonny from Faith's phone but Faith catches him and Sonny hears a gunshot.
